The wait is over! The official match schedule for UEFA EURO 2024 has been unveiled, providing football fans with a glimpse of where and when the action will unfold. The tournament will be hosted in Germany across ten world-class stadiums, from the iconic Olympiastadion in Berlin to the Allianz Arena in Munich.
Tournament Format
UEFA EURO 2024 will follow the same format as previous editions. A total of 24 teams will compete in the tournament, divided into six groups of four teams each. The top two teams from each group, as well as the four best third-placed teams, will advance to the knockout stage.
Key Dates
The tournament will kick off on June 14th, 2024, with the opening match taking place at the Allianz Arena in Munich. The group stage will run through June 26th, with the round of 16 matches scheduled for June 29th-30th. The quarterfinals will be played on July 3rd and 4th, followed by the semifinals on July 8th and 9th. The final will take place at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on July 14th.
